Who are Beaver Scouts?

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members (6-8yrs). They meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities. They also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. Throughout all this Beavers are encouraged to make new friends, try new things and take an interest in the world around them.

Badges and Awards:

Badges are a way for Beaver Scouts to celebrate and proudly display their skills and achievements on their uniform. There are a range of different badges, from Activity Badges, allowing Beavers to try new things, to Challenge Awards, which focus on accomplishing a number of more ambitious tasks. The highest awards in the Beaver Section is the Chief Scout Bronze! See where they go with this handy Diagram:

Get Involved:

Visit our Get Involved page to get in touch and find out how your child can be part of the fun and adventure that is Beavers! 🙂

Who are the Leaders?

All Scout Leaders in the world are unpaid volunteers, local heroes who generously give their time to provide young people with fantastic opportunities to have fun, make friends and learn new skills. Our team at 94th Keele is a real mix, some have decades of Scouting experience, some are Keele University students and others are Parent helpers. With roles to suit everyone why not Get Involved and be part of the adventure?
